I previously rated this board as "Very Bad", but that was when I tried to use an IDE optical drive: I suspect that the driver included with eCS 2.0 does not work with the strange IDE chipset (combination IDE/Firewire).

Using an SATA optical drive I was able to install eCS 2.0GA; but note:

1. I found that the old "genuine IBM" OS2APIC.PSD worked fine and enabled all four cores of the AMD 965; I still haven't found ACPI.PSD parameters that will enable me to use SMP mode.
2. The native Realtek 8169 NIC driver works much better than the GenMac "wrapper" version that the installer wanted to use.
3. Neither Panorama nor the SNAP driver allows me to use the monitor's 1920x1080 mode (which works fine with Windows 7 on the same motherboard): the max. is 1400x1050, which does not fill the screen. But at least SNAP is faster. (This is using the on-board ATI Radeon HD 4250 graphics.)
4. The included version of UniAud produced looping desktop sounds, but all seems to be well with the latest version.

Craig Colby 2011-04-22 22:30:27	Ecs.ru has a beta of atombios called test60hz.sys. With it I have 1920x1080 on a ViewSonic 2250.
Alan Beagley 2011-06-21 20:54:26	test60hz.sys does change the resolution, but the image is still the same size: it does not fill my LG monitor's screen. I'm using an HDMI connection and have no idea whether it would work better with a vga connection.
