What is ACPI? read short text
You can download ACPI 3.15, 3.16 packages from BETAZONE.
1) Whatsnew:
- Pay attention to "polling" switch (acpi.cfg), enable it by default
- updated Intel source code (2008/12)
- Improved support of Thinkpad notebooks
2) What to test?
- If previous version of ACPI works for you then test the latest one,
post the report for ACPI DB
- If previous version doesn't work, new version works then post this
information to ACPI DB
- If you have a problem with boot/work then
post the report to ACPI bug-tracker
